Stuck in the house while the Pacific Northwest was blanketed by wildfire smoke, I took the opportunity to setup some lights and a black backdrop and take some pictures.
Recently I’ve been spending choosing Single Malts for my Zoom Happy Hours, so it seemed like the perfect photography subject.

All of these were taken with a fixed 50mm lens ranging from f/1.8 to f/2.8 – I shoot in Aperture Priority mode so I can control the depth of field and let the camera figure out the best speed.
